Utrecht Hill Ridge National Park
You will find lots of beautiful places to rest in this large forest area. You can go for beautiful cycling trips or hikes across hills and through the green forests. There are various nature and recreation areas where you can spot birds or where you can find fields of flowers and marshes.
De Hoge Veluwe National Park
The largest and most famous region with impressive flora and fauna. It can be no other than De Hoge Veluwe. A characteristic aspect is that visitors can travel through the park on the 'white bicycles'. Among other things, you can also visit the Kröller-Müller Museum and the Museonder here.
Day recreation area Kwintelooijen
A recreation area with lots of history. Various soil layers containing the remains of bones and tools were found in this sand quarry from the 1970s. Among other things, this protected nature area is home to a play lawn, picnic tables and a tent and caravan lawn these days.
The Betuwe
A beautiful area known for its blossom trees and fruit orchards. Cycling through the Betuwe you will get to know picturesque villages, historic forts and castles, but also places like Tiel and Culemborg.
