Our holiday home in nature is located on the Utrecht Hill Ridge and is consequently surrounded by an abundance of nature.  Right across from our holiday home, you will find Nature Reserve Kwintelooijen. This nature reserve is part of the Utrecht Hill Ridge National Park, and it is a great place to hike. There is also 17th century culture to see in the area such as Amerongen Castle, as well as the National Military Museum located near the holiday home in nature.

The Utrecht Hill Ridge, of course, does not consist only of Kwintelooijen Nature Reserve. In fact, the Utrecht Hill Ridge has 100,000 acres of nature. They built their country houses here in large numbers to escape the city in the summer and retreat to nature. These country houses began relatively modest, but quickly grew into large country houses with imposing gardens. And that is what makes the Utrecht Hill Ridge such a unique area. Utrecht Hill Ridge

Amerongen Castle

Those with a passion for castles will have a great time in this extraordinary 17th century castle. Inside you will discover the historic interior and outside you will admire the flower garden, vegetable garden, and even an orchard. There are several options for a remarkable visit with family, children, and in groups.

The Hoge Veluwe

The largest and most famous region with impressive flora and fauna. That, of course, is The Hoge Veluwe. A distinctive part is that visitors can cross the National Park on "white bikes". You can also visit the Kröller-Müller Museum and the Museonder, among others.
